In addition to the necessary specialist knowledge, the correct selection of the media suitable for the sample material is indispensable for a successful preparation.
The Solution Boxes offer an all-in-one solution for the preparation of various materials. They are ideally suited for first preparation trials of materials, which are new to the user and also support inexperienced users with practical tips & tricks.
ATM Solution Boxes contain all grinding and polishing media required for the preparation of a specific material. By following the preparation recommendations*, satisfactory preparation results should always be achieved.
19 different boxes for different materials are available for media in Ø200, Ø250 and Ø300 mm.
*The recommended preparation methods can be applied for proper sectioned and burred specimens. Parameters like pressure (given as force in newton) are referred to single pressure and depend on specimen size.
Due to the diversity of materials and examination aims the provided standard preparation methods might not cover all applications.
